About
Born in Tokyo in 1965, Kitajima writes novels, documentaries, Manga and game scripts. The game 3-B Kinpachi released by Chunsoft for PlayStation2 won the Award for Excellence at the 9th CESA GAME AWARDS. Kitajima was the chief writer on 428: In the blocked city, Shibuya released by SEGA for Nintendo wii, and it was a prize winner in the Future Division of the JAPAN GAME AWARDS 2008. The game magazine Weekly Famitsu gave it full marks. 428: In the blocked city, Shibuya was then enshrined in the platinum Hall of Fame, and won the Award for Excellence at the FAMITSU AWARDS 2008 and the Award for Excellence at the Japan Game Awards 2009. In 2010, Chaos Rings earned the No.1 sales spot for RPG apps in 15 countries around the world. Okamiden by CAPCOM for Nintendo DS is enshrined in Famitsu's Gold Hall of Fame 2010.
